The main focus of his work is implementing complex change in public and private sector as well as NGO's, both local and global.


In addition, he did research in developing methodologies for organizational change and leadership education using the paradigm of complexity and philosophy (Hannah Arendt, Axel Honneth, Hans Joas) in co-operation with Professor Douglas Griffin, Complexity Research Group, University Hertfordshire and Professor Richard T. Pascale, Said Business School Oxford University.


Dr. Herrmann is a Physician by training and has taught at the Master of Medical Education, University of Bern, the Academy of Palliative Medicine, University of Munich, the Copenhagen Business School and the School for Philosophy (HfP) Munich.
